Sixteen Years and Still Going Strong

Another year! It’s amazing how quickly the time has passed. We’re excited to welcome another glorious spring.

This year nurseries will be offering larger specimen stock at more competitive pricing. If you’re considering installing a large specimen, like a Japanese cut-leaf maple or weeping hemlock, now is the perfect time to do so.

In our continuing quest to provide high quality, reasonably priced material, we’ve decided to work directly with a flagstone quarry. I recently visited the site and I am pleased with their pricing and quality. All materials are shipped locally, so we’ll be helping to lower our carbon footprint, too!

At this years Boston trade show, we found exciting new eco-friendly products and plants, including Bamboo. I hope to use more of the non-invasive (clumping) varieties in our landscape designs. We also discovered the Pond-less waterfall. This water feature produces a waterfall and stream, but no standing water. It is also more compact in space than a pond. Lastly, we learned about LED (light emitting diode) energy efficient landscape lighting. The light is similar to white halogen in color and the bulb lasts for 20+ years. Each of these items can make landscaping simpler for you.

As we shake off the snow and warm up the trucks, my dedicated crew and I thank you for your continued support.
